Here are some tips for taking care of your Dansi:

• Use the Dansi box to store your shoes when the season is over.
• Clean your shoes before storing them.
• Do not place your Dansi directly in the sun or near heat sources.

Napas and Leathers

These leathers are known for their softness and smooth finish. Napa and calfskin are of the highest quality, and mixed-breed is incredibly soft and delicate.

• Cleaning for dust and dirt: Use a soft bristle brush or a dry cotton cloth to remove dust.

• Stain removal: For light stains, gently rub with a cotton cloth slightly dampened with water and neutral soap (without alcohol or solvents).

• Nutrition: The skin needs to be hydrated.

  Apply a small amount of colorless cream (or one the same shade as the shoe) with a clean cloth, using circular motions. Let the leather absorb the cream for about 15-20 minutes. Brush vigorously with a clean brush to remove any excess and bring out the shine.

  For the Mestizo: Be especially gentle when rubbing, as it has thinner skin.

Suede and nubuck

Suede is a leather with a velvety finish, very elegant but porous and delicate, especially with water.

• Prevention – The most important step!: Apply a good quality waterproofing spray. This will create a barrier against water and stains.

• Cleaning dust and dry dirt: Use a special suede brush (with metal and/or rubber bristles). Always brush in the same direction to comb the nap.

• For dry stains or scuffs: Use a suede eraser or crepe eraser. Gently rub over the mark.

• Liquid or grease stains: Don't wet the shoe! Absorb immediately with paper. If the stain is grease, apply talcum powder or cornstarch to it, leave it for several hours, and then brush it off.

• Tough stains: Use a shampoo or dry cleaner specifically for suede and follow its instructions.

Duma leather or special finishes

Duma or leathers with a type of leather with an embossed, textured or semi-glossy finish:

• Cleaning: Treat it similarly to smooth leather. Use a soft, dry cloth for dusting. If it has a texture or embossed pattern, a soft brush can help clean the crevices.

• Nutrition: Use colorless cream. It is important to test it first on a small, inconspicuous area of the shoe to ensure that the cream does not alter the finish or color of the embossing.

Patent leather

Patent leather has a glossy varnish coating. It is waterproof, but susceptible to scratches and color transfer.

• Cleaning: It's the easiest to clean. Simply wipe it with a damp microfiber or cotton cloth to remove dust and marks. Dry it with another cloth for an instant shine.
  
  
• Extra Shine: A few drops of glass cleaner on the cloth (never directly on the shoe) or a specific product for patent leather will restore its shine.
  
  
• Storage: Caution! Do not store patent leather shoes of different colors touching each other (especially light and dark), as the color can transfer permanently. Always use individual bags.

Hardware (Metal Parts)

Hardware refers to buckles, zippers, or metal ornaments.

• Cleaning: Clean them with a dry cloth to bring out their shine.
• Caution: When applying cream to the skin, avoid the metal fittings. If applying metal cleaner, do so with a cotton swab, taking extreme care not to touch the skin, as it could stain it.
